The Society Lounge

Project Description

We had the opportunity to renovate the 2nd floor of a high-end bar, The Society Lounge, in Silver Spring, MD. To start, we removed all the existing finishes, fixtures, furniture, decking & framing to provide a clean slate for this complete renovation. We reframed & leveled the joists, installed new subflooring, providing a level substrate for the herringbone pattern LVP we later installed. We reframed stages & seating platforms and painted the roof structure. We then rebuilt the bar, which received a fresh face of tile. In addition to the Bar, the Tile scope included a large accent wall with emerald glazed brick tile behind the entry Vestibule & DJ booth as well as the entire staircase up to the 2nd floor Entrance.
